What is your favorite comfort food?  I didn’t think I had a favorite comfort food.  As I’m answering this question a pattern is forming. I’m smiling.. yummm. Toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, swiss, salty lox, juicy red beefsteak tomato, capers & onion or should I choose hot pastrami on rye, creamy cole slaw and spicy brown mustard, a half-done dill pickle, and rugelugh –flakey buttery, cream cheesey rich dough (NOT puff pastry) filled with apricot jam, cinnamon and sugar, pecans- -  OMG heaven. The answer is: A good really, really good old fashion Jewish deli.
