Project NACE is a prime example of the Phoenix Wedding & Event community coming together to support an wonderful cause all while showing off their amazing design talents.

This year’s dress designs were over the top!

 Jujus Tutus

  •          You may have heard April Showers bring May Flowers, but we say Bridal Showers bring Flower Girls & THEIR flowers! Juju's Tutus dress design took a repurposed umbrella and covered it with dozens of flowers to turn it into a fun, full and fabulous design that's ready to skate down the runway!

Chateau Luxe

  •          Chateau Luxe stayed true to its brand with this spectacular custom designed chandelier gown. The crystals are from the very chandelier that hangs in the grand foyer of Chateau Luxe. The dress, like the venue itself, brought a modern mode to decadence and luxury.

21 Cakes

  •          21 Cakes  used ribbons that they use to decorate their cakes and cupcake wrappers. The idea was to design a dress that looks wearable. All of the accessories that our model wore were all edible items used at 21 Cakes.

The Club Corp Group

  •          Seville Golf & Country Club, Anthem Golf & Country Club, Oro Valley Country Club and Gainey Ranch Golf Club collaborated on a true hole-in-one dress for the modern day golf and leisure bride. The beautiful ClubCorp model strutted the runway in high fashion encompassing a Day on the Green. A beautiful bird’s nest head piece accessorized the gorgeous scalloped sweetheart neckline and scorecard bodice. Make your way down the fairway to an A-Line astro turf skirt comprised of an 18-hole golf course with sand bunkers and pin flags. The beautiful tulle train with golf balls and tees adds drama while complimenting the golf and leisure inspiration. No bogies here, it looks like there’s a new Golf Pro in town!

Pixy Cakes

  •          Pixy Cakes heated up the runway by making their Pixy come to life!
The wings were made from shaped metal and cloth, and cupcake wrappers created the trim. The top corset was fully covered in cupcake wrappers and fondant flowers.

W Scottsdale Hotel

  •          Encompassing the W brand’s passion for Fashion, Music and Design, their design included elements from the world of jetsetting DJs and architectural pieces taken from the very walls of the W hotel.  Represented by the glitterati of the animal kingdom—the peacock…along with the softer side found in exotic silk florals. Bound together with shredded stereo cords, acrylic mesh and metal bunting, this flirty number is a whimsical escape to the ultimate mingle.

Candle Concierge

  •          "Beauty & Brains and Candle Concierge presented "AMBeYonce"!!! True to the brand, Insisting On Ambiance and Lighting Up Lives is what it is all about! With a fiery hairdo and gleaming silver silhouette, this look was sure to Light Up The Night with candelabra ‘accessories’

Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine

  •          Ripped from the pages of magazines….literally! The team at Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine created this fashion forward dress made from their publications of the last 15 years. This year's look is inspired by a dress seen in a trendy New York window display. The entire dress is constructed of pinwheels made out of magazine pages and shards of tulle. And of course, she wouldn’t be complete without the colorful pinwheel hair accessory. This dress truly displays how great it is to be a part of the Elite Circle!

Chocolates by M Josephs

  •          This chocolaty creation is sure to satisfy the sweets craving!! This full skirt , bodice and hat are all covered with a smooth chocolate shell. Mary put the usual candy necklace to shame with this decadent chocolate necklace!!

Chrysalis

  •          A "Chrysalis" is the hardened outer protective layer during the transition of a butterfly into its matured state. At the bottom, their dress is a representation of the layered protective state their clients are in once they begin our services. Traveling north, the dress transitions into one strong, empowered butterfly who is ready to conquer the world with poise and confidence.

Kick Ass Cakes and Vermillion Events

  •          Sweets for the Sweet... This gown has a black and white illusion neckline dress, with a hand piped licorice design, studded with silver dragees and fondant sequins.  Finished at the bottom with hand cut plastic wrap "feathers". This creation is meant to inspire both the wearer and all who see it, and remind us all that sweet does have a seductive side.

Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino

  •          Treat Me to the Game...  This fun outfit was made of Colored Rice Crispies for the Top with a cute Black Fondant bow. Her skirt was made out of Baseball cards from the past  and adds a fun swish to her walk. Umpire socks and Bubble gum Jewelry complete the perfect look for the Ball Park.

Mission Statement For Chrysalis

Leading our community to broad-based solutions to prevent domestic abuse.

Vision

Stop Terror in the Home

More than 30 years ago, a woman opened up her home as a safe house for both women and children who had been victimized by domestic violence. Within three years, funding was received to expand these services into a 24-hour crisis shelter. The shelter was appropriately named Chrysalis – defined as the growth that creates an independent being. During the first year, more than 450 women and children received assistance and the comfort of a safe haven to develop their self-esteem and independence.

Since that time, Chrysalis has been servicing the needs of women, children and men throughout the Valley who are trying to break the cycle of violence and abuse with a wide array of comprehensive services. The number of lives affected by Chrysalis has grown fourfold since its inception, with more than 1,200 individuals now being helped each year through the efforts of Chrysalis staff and volunteers.
