President's Report

   Hello Phoenix NACE!

It’s November!! Woohoo!! This is by far my favorite time of year! The weather is cooler, there is pumpkin spice all around, and bring on the comfy sweaters!! The start of the wonderful holiday season also means that event season is in full swing, and we are all busy, busy, BUSY! It’s definitely time to fine tune my family’s calendar to make sure I don’t miss out on any of the fun. With that being said, I just want to make sure to personally invite you all to the meeting next week! It’s going to be at the Phoenix Zoo, and we will have access to Zoo Lights, so bring the family!

Also coming up here shortly is one of my favorite annual NACE events. One of the best parts about being so involved in the local Phoenix NACE Chapter, is participating in all of the local and national educational experiences that NACE has to offer. At the beginning of next month, we will be registering attendees for the 2019 Evolve Conference. Evolve is designed for new and experienced NACE leaders and members who are considering joining a NACE leadership team. All of the information for Evolve is on the NACE National website (www.nace.net), however the basic details are below.

2019 NACE Evolve Conference
January 26-28, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas
The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio
San Antonio, TX 78205

The San Antonio NACE Chapter is amazing and will knock this one out of the park! If you are interested in learning more about NACE on a National level, and experiencing all that NACE can do for you and your career, I highly recommend attending!
During this Season of giving, I just want to tell you all that I am truly thankful to be the President of this Chapter. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this team!

Cheers to you all!

The Arizona Science Center was the backdrop for a funfilled night of "Black Tie Entertainment"

Members got to 'paparazzi' it up as they entered the building and were greeted by a gilt covered, stilt walking 'Glam'  for their first set of photo ops, then after registration, more Paparazzi photos were taken in front of a hedge wall before heading upstairs for cocktails and the silent auction.

The entertainment continued with a photo booth, Phoenix Caricature Company, and BOOM! drumline who escorted us down to dinner.

During dinner the entertainment continued with Hip Hop dances, ballroom dancing and an opera singer!

And at the end of the evening, we all got up and danced some more!

This evening was all about entertainment and these people helped turn our vision into reality.
